BE THE VOICE of your Gen on the GC is a youth music showcase at the Broadwater Parklands, held in 2014, with thanks to the City of Gold Coast, Concillor Dawn Crichlow and MP Rob Molhoek.

BeTheVoice gave teen musicians the opportunity to showcase their talent in such an exciting environment.

Fretfest director, Al Buchan, said "These kinds of events help to ensure future generations have the opportunity to enjoy and participate in the important part of Australian Culture which is music."

Local Member for Southport, MP ROB MOLHOEK was there to lend his support for the musicians aged 7-17years. “There are so many young artists who have the potential to be the next Justin Bieber or Taylor Swift but they are not being heard,” said Mr Molhoek.

“Be the Voice gives these young kids the opportunity to perform in front a large audience and who knows, maybe this event will be their stepping stone to stardom.”
